From October 19 to October 22, 2022, the auditor of the American Petroleum Institute, Mr. HE came to JST to conduct a four-day on-site audit on the implementation of API Q1 quality management system. API, founded in 1919, is the first national commercial association in the United States. An important task of API is to be responsible for the standardization of equipment used in the oil and gas industry to ensure the safety, reliability and interchangeability of equipment used in the industry. API Spec Q1 is a company level certification based on the standard developed and published by the American Petroleum Institute (API) titled "Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Manufacturing Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industry". This certification is intended for companies who manufacture equipment or components of equipment used in oil and natural gas production. This is the fifth year API has conducted the audit to JST since 2018. The fact that JST passed the API audit every year proves that we are a competitive company which focus on designing, manufacturing and selling of Non-metallic Sealing products for the petrochemical, Oil & Gas Industries.

On September 26, 2022, the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline project, which transports energy from Russia to Germany, and the Nord Stream 2 pipeline located at the bottom of the Baltic Sea exploded on the same day, causing a large amount of natural gas to leak into nearby waters. 2022 Nord Stream leaks Nord Stream 2 pipe A, exclusive economic zone of Denmark Nord Stream 2 pipe A, exclusive economic zone of Sweden Nord Stream 1, exclusive economic zone of Sweden Nord Stream 1, exclusive economic zone of Sweden Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air estimates that the potential leakage of the two pipelines is between 180 and 270 kilotons.
