Bonded seals for completion tools

This is sealing product developed by JST to meet the increasingly demanding sealing needs of equipment manufacturers and users in semiconductor, petrochemical, mechanical seal, instrumentation, energy, biopharmaceutical, food and medical industries.

T-Seal is a compact three-piece double acting seal composed of a T shaped elastomeric element and two rigid anti-extrusion rings. These compact sealing elements are designed for installation in simple O-ring grooves and are often used to modify faulty O-rings.

The ID S seal is used for wellheads, downhole tools and surface pressure control equipment as a critial part.

The V Stack seal assembly is comprising a top adapter or anti-extrusion ring (1), Vee Rings (2) and a bottom adapter (3). In the assembly the energizing axial force is transferred between the individual packing rings so that each ring is pressed into positive contact with the mating hardware surface. Special material grades are available for a large variety of working conditions. The chevron seal stack material could be PEEK, modified PTFE and spring.

Wipers are installed in the sealing configurations of hydraulic cylinders to prevent contaminants such as dirt, dust and moisture from entering the cylinder as they retract back into the system.

Dovetail groove is used to put the O-ring or elastomer dovetail seal during installation. This groove is not common because it is more expensive to machine, but this dovetail groove can avoid seal extrusion out.

JST's Packer elements are flexible elastomeric components that are used to seal between the outside diameter of the production tubing and the casing, liner or wellbore.

Piston seals are working to seal in fluid, thus preventing the flow of fluid across the piston, allowing pressure to build up on one side of the piston.
