BOP seal, also known as Blowout Preventers Seals, is generally used for large special valves or mechanical devices to seal, control and monitor oil and gas wells to prevent blowout and rig safety.

Because there are many uncertain factors in the formation and they are very complex, each drilling operation has the possibility of blowout, which puts forward higher requirements for well control technology and equipment. As the most important well control equipment, the blowout preventer needs to be quickly started to shut in in case of overflow, kick, blowout and other emergencies during drilling operation. Once the blowout preventer fails, it will lead to blowout and other malignant accidents. Therefore, reasonable use of BOP seals plays an important role in ensuring smooth drilling operation and personal safety.
