What role does valve insert play in oil field?

What role does valve insert play in oil field?

  • June 17. 2022

Valve insert is a necessary and vulnerable part of oil well fracturing pump in oil field. It forms a valve assembly with valve disc, valve cover, valve seat, guide claw, worm thread, nut, etc. when working, valve insert plays a role of sealing and buffering.

Valve insert seals

Oil field special valve insert seal is mainly used in pumps, which functions as water inlet valve and drainage valve. Features: oil and corrosion resistance. The operating temperature is -35 ℃ -100 ℃, the pressure is 120MPa, and it can work continuously for one month.

The main purpose of fracturing is to increase oil field production. 4-5 fracturing trucks operate in the underground oil layer to form a fracture, and the oil flows to the fracturing site, so as to achieve the purpose of oil field production increase.

Each fracturing truck has three water inlets and three water outlets. The water outlets face the pressure in the well that can press the formation, and are sealed by valve insert. Therefore, they bear high pressure and have higher requirements. Each oil well in the oilfield needs fracturing to achieve the purpose of increasing production, and some oil wells need multiple fracturing. In different oilfields, due to different regions and different depths of oil wells, the stability of Valve is extremely critical.

JST Seals adopts imported high-quality raw materials and processing technology, which can fully meet the needs of different oilfields. Generally, it can reach the high standard of 6-7 wells, and can provide high-quality rubber of any shape and size (3 ", 4", 4.5“).
