In LNG terminals, liquid nitrogen systems, and cryogenic pipelines (-196°C), standard elastomer seals fail catastrophically—brittle fractures, shrinkage-induced leaks, and cold flow compromise safety. As a leading cryogenic seal manufacturer, we engineer PTFE and PEEK ball valve seat seals specifically for sub-zero environments. Our materials resist thermal shock, maintain elasticity at -196°C, and prevent fugitive emissions in critical LNG transfer, storage, and processing applications.


Efficient, reliable valve performance is critical to the success of any LNG/CNG operation, and seals play a central role in keeping valves up and running. But their job is made difficult by the demanding service conditions.


JST has a wide range of solutions for cryogenic sealing applications. The range includes valve stem seals and valve seat seals. Compounds and designs could vary as per specific applications.


The material mainly includes polymer jacket (virgin PTFE, filled PTFE, TFM, PCTFE, UHMW-PE, PEEK, etc.) and SS/Elgiloy/Inconel helical spring, canted level spring ,canted coil spring.


Material compounds have passed API 6A FF/HH Immersion Testing and NACE approved energizers available for oil and gas application.
