50Elastomeric wellhead secondary pack off seal
Pack off seal is a sliding seal structure, including a cylindrical seal body, which includes an upper end face and a lower end face. Most of the sliding seals currently used has an annular rubber ring structure, which is basically used under the working conditions of a low pressure of 5000 psi and a temperature range of - 18 ° C to 110 ° C.
Pack off seal or Secondary Seal Assemblies is installed in the lower seal area of the Casing Spool or Tubing Head. They are utilized to offer redundant well security between the casing annulus and the flanged connection of a Casing Head, Casing Spool or Tubing Head. These seals can also offer a special sealing capability for FRAC equipment in certain instances.
Secondary Seal assemblies come in a variety of configurations, pressure ratings, and different ID sizes allowing for a broad range of casing sizes to be utilized in a standard bottom prep in the casing spool or tubing head. Some provide an elastomeric seal and some provide a metal to metal seal. JST designs as per customer’s requirements; both elastomeric ones and metal to metal ones are qualified by various customers.

Wellhead secondary pack off seal is used to seal the hanger to the wellhead.
T-seals are three piece seals with an elastomeric lip and hard plastic anti-extrusion rings, it is proved to be of long time service. The standard design will fit into an o-ring gland and can be machined or net moulded.
Lockdown screw seal is used mainly in geothermal applications, HNBR packing with stainless steel caps provide superior performance over metal pressure seals.
The ID S seal is used for wellheads, downhole tools and surface pressure control equipment as a critial part.
P seal is constructed from an elastomer with back up rings for anti-extrusion. Energized by the injection of sealant, it is a static seal that is used to seal rough casing and tubing. Backup rings are available in Mesh Stainless Steel or Solid Carbon Steel.
The FS-seal is a relatively large cross section spring energized elastomer casing and tubing hanger seal for wellheads that always has the springs on the internal surface.
BT Seal is a static seal that is used to seal rough casing and tubing. It is constructed from an elastomer with anti-extrusion spring bonded within it. Springs are available in stainless steel, elastomer could be HNBR or NBR.
S-Seal is designed for extreme oil and gas applications. It is a technologically advanced replacement for traditional three-piece T-Seals or O-Rings with back-ups.
