50API 6D ball valve piston seal
The polymer jacket's material includes virgin PTFE, filled PTFE, UHMW-PE, PEEK, etc.
The chemical and heat resistance of the above materials is better than rubber. They can be used in most chemical fluids, solvents, hydraulic oils and lubricating oils. Their expansibility is very small, so they can give good sealing performance for a long time.
The spring energized seal mainly use helical springs to overcome the elastic problems of PTFE, UPE, PEEK, and develops seals that can replace most of the static or dynamic (reciprocating or rotating) seals. The service temperature range can be from -196℃ to 300℃, the pressure from vacuum to ultra-high pressure 70MPa, and the moving speed can be as high as 20m / s. The spring can be used according to different service environments, springs of different materials are selected, so they can be applied to the occasion of high-temperature corrosive fluid.
