Hydraulic rubber fabric V packing seal

V packing is a very popular rod and piston sealing element designed to seal static, reciprocating and centrifugal applications.

The vee packing hydraulic seals materials could be NBR, HNBR, FKM, PTFE, fabric reinforced HNBR or FKM.

PTFE V packing seal consists of multiple male and female adaptor, usually a group of three to seven v rings, used for low or high pressure applications with Single or Double acting cylinder, and assist in sealing during compression.

The multi center ring is used to improve the sealing performance of the system. The packing can be optimized by changing the material type to adapt to different chemicals, temperatures and pressures.

The selection of fabric or homogeneous compound shall be based on working pressure (number of rings per set), temperature and sealing medium.

Vee packing seals are usually used in gland adjustable applications. Applications include telescopic truck cranes, pumps and valves.
