With the increasing demand of energy, oil and natural gas environment for well completion and production tools, the requirements of packer element are becoming higher and higher. Packer elements, commonly known as rubber bucket products on the market, has high toughness & cushioning characteristics and is used to protect the drilling pipeline from collision with the pipe wall. BT Seal is a static seal that is used to seal rough casing and tubing. It is constructed from an elastomer with anti-extrusion spring bonded within it. Springs are available in stainless steel, elastomer could be HNBR or NBR.
