It can prevent direct contact and friction between piston or piston rod and cylinder block during movement, and protect cylinder block and piston or piston rod from damage.
Phenolic guide ring is a new type of green environmental protection material. It is made of thermosetting linear phenolic resin as the base material, high-quality cotton fiber or other fibers and their fabrics as the reinforcing material, and an appropriate amount of wear-resistant and antifriction additives.

Wear rings are used to help keep the piston centered, allowing for even wear and pressure distribution on the seals. Wear rings are used in both piston and rod applications.
