The hammer union sealing ring is used for one-way / high-pressure / static sealing. It is used for working conditions with pressure outside. It is widely used in various static sealing and slow speed sealing occasions. It has a good sealing effect for light gas / refrigerant and vacuum, and can also be used in occasions with poor surface finish.

JST offers two lines of hammer union seals, one from elastomer, another one from elastomer reinforced with anti-extrusion ring which is normally used for high pressure.
JST's hydraulic hammer union seals have a variety of configurations and materials to choose from, including NBR, HNBR and Viton.
For cold weather applications we offer both a low temperature rated (-50°C to +120°C) NBR and HNBR elastomers.
In addition to standard molded rubber seals, the brass or stainless steel anti-extrusion ring can also reinforce hammer union seals.
It can fully meet the specific performance requirements of your demanding operating environment.

Back-up Ring/Anti Extrusion Rings is a ring that holds an elastomeric seal to its outline shape and in its right place. and are typically used with O Rings to eliminate extrusion at high pressures.
